I’ve been diving back into content creation recently. Producing podcast episodes, creating YouTube videos, publishing blog posts….Johnny has been busy this year already and planning for the rest of the year. Somewhere towards the end of 2025 I felt a deep call to get back into content creation and knew that it would lead me into the next stage of my life so I have been leaning into that call. I entered a season of being Locked-In to close out the year and carried that feeling and commitment over with me into 2026. I will admit content creation has been slow going this year, but it has been going. Editing YouTube videos takes a long time, and there are days I do not feel like recording a podcast episode. The blog I recently started (Zero To 40) is steadily getting more content published but as far as subscribers that is a slow build as I am not advertising it much. Even so, with the slow progress on all fronts, I still know I am on the right track. Taking what I learned from 2024 The Year of Events and 2025 The Year of New Opportunities and putting it all into practice in 2026 The Year of Reset. I am publishing on various platforms with content specifically for that platform. Fresh photos on Instagram to showcase my photography skills, new videos both long form and SHORTS on YouTube for personal growth mindset and behind the scenes looks of my entrepreneurial journey, even videos on LinkedIn that are industry related for my target clients. You can read the blog here, subscribe to the YouTube channel here, or follow the podcast here where you can also subscribe on whichever podcast app you prefer to listen on. As the year progresses I am finding my groove and becoming more efficient with my production skills, but overall I am happy I answered the call and have been creating like a madman again (in comparison to the last year). At least for Q1 of 2026 there is a large push for putting more of myself out into the universe, more of my thoughts and my voice into the world. So many live with the fear of rejection from many people and I was definitely once of those for so long, but last year I broke free of that fear and this year I am leaning into that breakthrough even more. Through words, audio, and video content sharing my experiences and what I am learning on my own journey is the next stage of my life. Even my photography website (JohnnyBoyPhotos.com) is getting much needed upgrade this quarter. I went to the events, I had the new experiences, now it is time to reset. As we continue moving into the year I will continue creating content and promoting it to my audiences. And as I do I hope you stick along for the ride. |

It’s a new year. Many people are changing jobs, starting a business, engaging in new routines, committing to the gym or a diet, or engaging in a brand-new hobby or activity. Some of those people (as I have heard from the language they use) feel as if they are starting over and starting from zero. They speak as if this is the first day and they are beginning this new phase or new venture with absolutely no resources to pull from. This is not the case, ever. When you begin a new venture or a...
2024 has been a difficult year for many people. So many companies faced the decision to let go of a large portion of their employees. Entire industries shifted and their workers have been impacted leaving many people looking for new opportunities of employment, or supplemental income. When I look back over both my own professional career and my entrepreneurial journey most of my opportunities have come directly from my own network, not from a job board, an agency, or a platform. My direct...
It was in the audio recording from Earl Nightingale I first heard the quote from George Bernard Shaw. “People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them, make them.” In that audio recording The Strangest Secret, Earl credited this as part of his definition of success. Focus on what you want, care enough, and pursue...
